Corrections
Banding, uneven tone, box dye, old formulas, and big goal changes need a slower, more honest plan than a standard color appointment.
About
With over 20 years behind the chair, hair has always been my passion. I knew early on that this was exactly what I wanted to do, and color is the part of the craft that still keeps me paying close attention every day.
My favorite work is color corrections and vivid colors, because those appointments need both creativity and honesty. Sometimes the best first move is a big change. Sometimes it is a safer staged plan that protects the hair so the final goal is still possible.
I love helping clients feel confident through customized, creative transformations. Whether it’s fixing a color mishap, building brunette dimension, creating soft blonding, or making something bold and unique, I want the color to feel personal, wearable, and cared for after the appointment.

How Amy works
Every new color appointment starts with context. The hair history, desired tone, maintenance rhythm, and condition of the hair all shape what should happen in the chair.
Amy wants to know what has already happened on the hair: old color, lightener, box dye, gloss, heat habits, and what the hair has tolerated well or not tolerated at all.
A good color result should look right leaving the studio and still make sense weeks later, so tone, maintenance, grow-out, and budget are part of the conversation.
The appointment stays with Amy from consultation through color, gloss, finish, and the maintenance notes that help clients understand what comes next.
Specialties
Amy focuses on color work that depends on judgment: what the hair can safely do, how the tone will wear, and what the client can realistically maintain.
Banding, uneven tone, box dye, old formulas, and big goal changes need a slower, more honest plan than a standard color appointment.
Bold color work depends on canvas, lift, porosity, and home maintenance. Amy plans vivid work around the health and history of the hair first.
Balayage, brunette dimension, glossing, and lived-in blonding are planned for softness, shine, and a grow-out clients can maintain.
